There comes a time, in every podcast’s life, where a guest host appears…..this is that time!
Jeff and Rick are joined by one of the rowdy boys of the Secret Wars and Beyond podcast. Sean joins the dysfunctional duo to down some drinks and discuss some dugouts as Power Pack goes to Shea Stadium. They are out at the ballpark to take in a professional baseball game with their granpa….what trouble could they possibly get into…….I am being handed a note….this says that they could get into a lot of trouble.
But never fear…with three hosts and a ton of silliness...and a slightly longer episode....you get the enjoyment of a grand slam home run.
Thanks once again to Sean from Secret Wars and Beyond ( @Sean42AZ ) for joining us on this episode. Be sure to check out his wonderful podcasts. http://secretwars.libsyn.com/

Crossover Time! X-cellent!
Jeff and Rick sit down with an X-pensive beer and X-amine an X-cellent X-Men X-travaganza. That’s right, Power Pack is hiding behind a weird teal covered book. The Power Kids embark on their darkest adventure yet...yeah, this ain’t no kiddy book.
Make sure you check out Jay and Miles Xplain the X-Men, Episode 41 “Hated and Feared” (https://www.xplainthexmen.com/2015/01/41-hated-and-feared/) for their take on this issue of X-Men.
Featured in this episode are shout outs to: Jay & Miles XPlain the X-Men( @XPlaintheXmen ), Smash Fiction (@SmashFicPodcast ) and a BIG SHOUT OUT to Hub at Titan Up the Defense for his contribution ( @ttwasteland_ )
Don’t be sad, we are back with a brand new episode of Power Pack!!
And, as Jeff so eloquently(?) sings, we are back in the sewers again! On the hunt for their lost backpacks, the team of pre-teens head into the dark...and meet a mess of mutants! That’s right, they are in the Morlock tunnels. Hopefully a couple of X-Men can get them out of this scrape. Along the way, we discuss depression and electricity….not at the same time.
This episode, does not suck....but I may be biased!
And if you think there are too many song parodies, blame the Irredeemable Shagg ( @onceuponageek ) for this fine mess. Additional shout outs include: Secret Wars and Beyond ( @Sean42AZ ) & ( @garaujo1), Titan up the Defense ( @ttwasteland_ ), and WMQ Comics ( @wmqcomics ).

Our first interview!!!
And it is with June Brigman!!!
And it was sooooo cool!!
Join us for this very special episode as we get the amazing opportunity to speak with the co-creator and first artist of Power Pack. June was kind enough to answer questions about how she got her start as an artist, her start into comics, and her start on Power Pack. My daughter also helps us get June to open up about important questions, like what Jack’s voice sounds like, how long Julies rainbow lasts, how adorable is Katie, and the number of animals June lives with. Seriously, it is adorable. And why are we talking about cats again….this is like the second episode in a row. Well, it probably won’t continue
Make sure you check out June’s gallery (http://www.artwanted.com/artist.cfm?ArtID=1321), her work on the daily comic strip Mary Worth (http://maryworthcomics.com/), and her upcoming comic book Captain Ginger (http://www.comicsahoy.com/series/captain-ginger).
Also, shout outs to the people we mentioned in this episode: Ahoy Comics Ahoy Comics ( @AhoyComicMags ), Jay and Miles Xplain the X-Men ( @XPlaintheXmen ) and Nicole Chung ( @nicole_soojung ).

In this episode, Tone Deaf Rick and Pom Pom Jeff follow the kids as they dive to new depths, in the sewers? What, wait…that cannot be safe. And it is not. But they have to throw away their safety, sanity, and sense of smell in order to save a kitten……seriously…a kitten…they are like, so much better than me, which is a really low bar. Anyway. You should support us on Patreon, https://www.patreon.com/JeffandRickPresent so we can save more kittens from sewers.
Do you want to hear us talk about a really cool book from the 70’s written by David Macaulay called Underground?
Do you want to hear us talk like a copper with a bad accent?
Do you want to hear Rick sing……Ok...nobody wants that, but you should listen anyway!
Featured in this episode are shout outs to: Underground (https://www.scholastic.com/teachers/books/underground-by-david-macaulay/) and Secret Wars and Beyond podcast ( @Sean42AZ ) & ( @garaujo1).

And if you do listen to the show, you get to find out how they solve the snake situation as the plucky Power Pack pints team up with Marrina and Friday to go on an incredible sea adventure. Grab your flippers and deep sea masks, cause we are going for some deep dives. We may also talk about dogs, ukes, dolphins, and GI Joe. And Rick fails to correctly identify the Arctic from the Antarctic, so we can tease him about that for a while…that should be good for a laugh.
Now to miss quote LL Cool J in Deepest, Bluest Gee..."My Gee is like a Sharks Fin."

It is time for a new arc and a new adventure! The Power children are taken to the aquarium for a pleasant afternoon with their grandpa. Too bad there is a GIANT ALIEN SNAKE that spoils their good time. Man, I hate it when that happens. It reminds me of this one time, at work, I was having this fantastic nap, and my boss woke me up to tell me I was snoring too loud. Man, what a jerk…..what was I talking about?
Anyway, Jeff and Rick get ready to rumble with a reptile in the latest installment of our (yet to be) award winning podcast. Join us! Rate us! Love Us! And support us on Patreon, https://www.patreon.com/JeffandRickPresent.

The final issue of the Dragon Man/Cloak and Dagger arc….Hooray! The children were left in a perilous position in the final pages of last issue. There is drugs, robots, fighting, and dancing. So many questions were asked, but probably none of them were like this.
What beer will see the talkative twosome of Jeff and Rick through these pages?
What crazy concepts and witty words will be dreamed up by the Power children?
What silly songs will escape the confines of Jeff’s beard?
Tune in to another exquisite episode of our family friendly podcast to find out.

Featuring the caped darkness of Cloak and the impossibly costumed Dagger. The dynamic duo join the kids, fresh off their first half-day at their new school, to try and do some superhero stuff. Since they are underage and in a new city and are still figuring out how to do this heroing thing, I am sure everything will turn out all right…..Hang on….getting handed a message….Nope...it all goes terribly wrong.
But never fear, with beer in hand and some knowledge about fire retardants, Jeff and Rick are here to save the day. Let the sound effects commence!
What do you get when you mix four young superheroes, Spider-man, a synthetic dragon, a couple of mutated runaway teens, a kidnapped professor, and a variety of opportunities to sing?….a cacophony of chaos. Jeff and Rick try to keep up with the powered up pre-teens as they hop around New York chasing adventure. And, through the use of various bad analogies and singing, the boys prevail. Jeff even tries his hand at Broadway. He begins by serenading a beer, and finishes by challenging Lin-Manuel Miranda to a rap battle. It does not go well.
Also, you can use egg whites for casts and flamethrowers are cool…..This is why we are here!
